UNH Hospitality & Campus Services Marketing Intern
I was the Student Catering Administrative Marketing Intern for UNH Hospitality and Campus Services. I started here in September 2022. My main role included managing the Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok accounts for Hospitality and Campus Services.
Content Creation
I manage the UNHDining Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Tik Tok accounts. I use photography and videography skills at special events at the campus dining halls and retail locations. For each post, I am taking the photos and videos, coming up with exciting and informational captions, and posting through Meta Business Suite.
A video I have created and filmed (and featured in) is for UNH Cat Trax bike share program to provide instruction on how to use the bikes. I created a storyboard with A-roll clips, B-roll clips, and audio for this video. I am currently working on a storyboard and voiceover for navigating the dining menus online.
I have also been a voiceover for the UNH Transportation services.
Featured are graphics I created using Canva, my photography portfolio which are all posted across Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, and the video I created a storyboard for and am featured in.
Administrative & Writing
I aid Conferences and Catering Services by directing calls, creating a master list of permits, entering data into Excel, and creating reservations for customer events. I wrote a blog post about using the Biometrics finger scanning into the dining halls. I also wrote a blog post about the success of U-Day which also I also extended and submitted for the NACUFS 2023 Winter Edition.
Photography
For daily menu items and special events I take photos at the dining halls and retail locations. Each of these photos have been posted on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter (X). For each photo, I specifically plate the food in a certain manner to emphasize all the different items. I make sure the plates are colorful and add special garnishes to certain dishes like soups to make the photos more interesting. Each photo has a descriptive caption of the item photographed, and where and when you can find this item.
